Nigel Richards (MYS) faced Evelyn Wallace (Eng) at Board 1 this round and had another 500 game, winning 500-286. Theresa Brousson (MLT) beat Jackie McLeod (Eng) to remain undefeated, as did Helen Gipson (Sco) over Vincent Boyle (Sco) and Joanne Craig (AUS) over David Webb (Eng).

Nicky Vella-Laurenti (MLT) had his division's low win so far, 342-334 over Mario Saliba (MLT). In Division B, Peggy Lavender (Eng) has had 284-281 and 312-292 wins.

Jayne MacKenzie (Eng), Joe Caruana (MLT) and Bronagh Kenny (IRL) remain undefeated in the B division. Caruana and Kenny play each other in Round 4 (after tea), while MacKenzie plays top 2-1 player Charles Micallef (MLT).
