Round 2.

Round 2 kicked off with no-one requiring a clock being started in their absence- only by a matter of seconds however!

Table 1 contestants are Angele Andrews (MLT), the founder of the Malta Scrabble Club in 1984 and who now lives in the UK, against the highest rated player of the Tournament, Phil Robertshaw (Eng) also from the UK. Everyone has settled down very quickly to playing with the International/Malta rules of 5 point penalty/per word for an unsuccessful word challenge and the accidental overdrawing of Tiles. (N plus 1, and N plus 2). Their game was relatively low scoring as they squeezed the whole game into one half diagonal of the board and they both finished up with un-useable tiles!
