Round 4.

The tea, coffee and cakes provided during the break seemed to greatly boost the players' blood sugar level, as the noise level went through the roof. The TD (Tournament Director) managed to quieten them down and get them started into round 4 within a couple of minutes of the schedule. The large TV screen display of all the players, their current position, their photo, their current spread, who they played last, and who they are playing next has really gone down a 'wow' with the players - most of them have never seen such an intricate and detailed display of the overall picture of the Tournament as well as a very useful set of information on each player - John Chew strikes again!!

The top table battle this time is between Theresa Brousson (MLT) (nee Camilleri), from Malta and Evan Cohen (ISR) from Israel. In the early stages of the game they both had pretty poor racks, with exception of a bonus by Evan: ENDEARS. They then both played the same word consecutively: NOTT very rare to have such similar racks!! Evan maintained his advantage and went on to win the game: 439-356.

(Addendum by John Chew) the consecutive NOTTs were a data entry error by our novice annotators, whose error rate is improving substantially from round to round, but hasn't quite reached zero yet. I'm editing the games after each round, correcting them after the fact to show what actually happened, and apologize for any confusion that may ensue.
