At Board 2, Yi En Gan (DEU) vs. Mikki Nicholson (Eng) playing for third. Everyone else is playing just for fun, honour and ratings. In Division B, that's all that Margaret Armstrong (Eng) and Jim Wilkie (Sco) are playing for, as they have locked up first and second. Third place is likely to go to the winner at the second board, Pauline Cilia (MLT) vs. Mario Seychell (MLT), but could go to Brid Ni Bhriain (IRL) or Gila Blits (ISR). Helen manages a ninth consecutive win to get the top prize, Evan says he's delighted to have won second. Mikki beats Yi En for third. In B, Pauline Cilia (MLT) beats Mario Seychell (MLT) 391-320, and wins third place by a full game ahead of Gila Blits (ISR) and Albert Zammit (MLT).
