Raquelle Azran (ISR) and Maria Scicluna (MLT) turned in the second tie game of the tournament, and we're only in Round 2. Last week at the European Open, we went 32 games without a single tie. The low win of the tournament so far comes in, Avril Shaw (ISR) 302 to Joe Caruana (MLT) 250. We are down to three undefeated players in Division B: Mario Seychell (MLT), Margaret Armstrong (Eng) and Bronagh Kenny (IRL). Among the top seeds, Jim Wilkie (Sco) and Sammy Mangion (MLT) are on 3-1, along with such lower-ranked players as Mary Doyle (IRL), Nancy Alroy (ISR) and Pauline Cilia (MLT). |
